3.3 If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. Where you are responsible for setting or changing any passwords yourself, you must ensure that those passwords are robust in accordance with practices generally in use in the IT industry from time to time. If you authorise any third party intermediaries and agents acting on your behalf to access any account which you operate via our site by providing your login and password details to them, you will be responsible for the acts and omissions of those third parties as if they were your own acts and omissions and we shall be entitled, without making any further investigation, to assume that any instruction given by such third parties via your account has been fully authorised by you. 5.1 Commentary and other materials posted on our site are for general information only and are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed or an offer or solicitation to conduct investment or non-investment business. [The products and services referred to on this website are not available to the general public in any jurisdiction and the information provided does not constitute an offer, invitation to acquire or sell any service, product or security referred to]. 5.2 Our site may contain information provided by third parties which we believe to be reliable and accurate, however, we do not guarantee this.
5.3 We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on any materials on our site by any visitor to our site, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.
6. Risk factors
6.1 You should remember that the value of investments, and the income from them, may go down as well as up, and is not guaranteed. Investors may not get back the amount of money invested. Past performance cannot be relied on as a guide to future performance.
6.2 Exchange rate changes may cause the value of overseas investments or investments denominated in different currencies to rise or fall.
6.3 Existing tax levels and reliefs may change and the value of reliefs depend on personal circumstances.
6.4 The Funds will largely be investing in smaller companies whose shares are not publicly traded or are traded on smaller listed markets. Markets for smaller quoted and private companies are often less liquid and there may be difficulties in valuing and disposing of investments in such companies. Accordingly, realizations from investments in smaller traded and private companies may not yield the level of returns anticipated when making an investment.
6.5 Investments made by a venture capital trust will normally be in companies whose securities are not publicly traded or fully marketable and may therefore be difficult to realise. An investment in a venture capital trust carries a higher risk than many other forms of investment. In the event of a venture capital trust losing its tax authority approval, it is likely that its shares will become illiquid. We cannot guarantee any venture capital trust will continue to qualify as a venture capital trust for tax purposes. A failure to meet the qualifying requirements could result in the venture capital trust losing any tax reliefs previously obtained, resulting in adverse tax consequences for any persons who have invested in it, including a requirement to repay any income tax relief obtained by an investor on subscription.]
